For making contact forms with infinite customizability, we use Contact Form 7. This plugin provides the underlying structure for how the forms should work and send, but does not provide any designs or styling. By default, the styling of the form is inherited from the active theme’s CSS. Forms can be built by using HTML, and making use of the pre-set shortcodes that the plugin provides. These shortcodes can also be used to fill in the notification emails with the filled in data.
To embed a contact form on a page, we can either use the provided shortcode or use the built-in Contact Form 7 component from the WPBakery Page Builder, if available (recommended).
As an extension to Contact Form 7, Flamingo is a lightweight addon which stores sent mails in the WordPress database. Allowing clients to view form submissions on the backend of the site, and preventing mail from getting lost.
